GROWTH AND YIELD RESPONSE OF PAK CHOI (BRASICCA RAPA) TO DIFFERENT FOLIAR FERTILIZERS UNDER PROTECTED CULTIVATION

The experiment was conducted to determine the growth and yield response of pak choi (Brasiccarapa var. Chinkang Genghis Khan) different foliar fertilizers (viz. vermitea, commercial fertilizer, effective microorganisms [EM-1] natural farming inputs [NFI]) under protected cultivation. It aimed evaluate influence on in terms characteristics, components, pests disease incidence. Similarly, conclude which among evaluated will be most economical for production. study done DA-ATI IV-A LSPU Organic Agriculture Learning Site Laguna State Polytechnic University, Siniloan, December 2015 February 2016. A total 300 plants were used as experimental units study. Every treatment replicated three times each replication has 10 polyethylene bags planted with two each. Data collected analysed use Duncans Multiple Range Test (DMRT). Results revealed that have no remarkable effect weekly height, rate, length leaves, shoot root ratio choi. Nevertheless, fertilizer significantly increased mean number leaves (7.53cm), width (15.10cm), economic biological yields (105.10 grams 106.88 grams, respectively) compared rest treatments, except vermitea produced a comparable (15.04cm). Also, lower damaged caused by looper (TrichoplusianiHübner) noted treated (0.51 leaf per plant). highest net income obtained fertilizer-treated plants, but earned return investment (ROI).
